Mediumship is a journey that transforms not just your ability to connect with spirit but also the relationship you have with yourself. It’s a skill that requires patience, trust, and a willingness to embrace the unknown. If you’re looking to deepen your abilities, want to learn how to develop mediumship skills or just take your first steps, here are seven tips to help you grow as a medium.

1. Meditation and Connecting with Spirit Guides
Meditation is one of the most valuable tools for anyone developing mediumship. It helps you quiet your mind, focus your energy, and create a stronger connection with the spirit world. But there’s more to it than just sitting still and breathing. Start by setting aside time each day, even if it’s just ten minutes. Find a quiet space, sit comfortably, and close your eyes. Focus on your breathing, and imagine a white light surrounding you—this light will protect and guide you.

When you feel calm and centred, invite your spirit guide to step forward. Spirit guides are there to support you, and they’re eager to help if you ask. One way to build a stronger bond with your guide is to ask them for a "calling card." A calling card is a unique sign or feeling that lets you know your guide is with you. It might be a tingling sensation, a warm glow, or even an image or word that pops into your mind. Consistently recognising this calling card is key to building trust in your connection. Over time, this sign will become like a personal handshake between you and your guide, making it easier to recognise their presence during readings or meditations.

Mediumship is like any skill—the more you practise, the better you get. Psychic games are a fun way to sharpen your intuition and build confidence in your abilities. Start with simple exercises like guessing the suit or colour of a card before flipping it over. Even remote viewing, where you visualise a location or object and describe it without seeing it in person, can help fine-tune your skills.
